Mission Statement
As part of a Stewardship Community,
Holy Name School strives to educate the total child
in a Catholic Christian environment that is
disciplined and academic.

Catholic Identity:
Emphasize school and parish stewardship and the development of Catholic values
by the deepening of each student's prayer and faith life through participation in
weekly Mass, daily prayer and involvement in outreach programs.
Curriculum:
Create techniques and procedures that promote continuity throughout
the school in the areas of Language Arts and Math with stress on the elevation
of Standardized Test scores.
Staff Development:
Enrich the formation of the faculty by the mutual sharing of current
workshop and training experiences with fellow Staff Members, Faculty
and Principal
Plant/Facility:
Advance the integration of school and Parish long range maintenance and repair plans
with emphasis on a clean and safe environment for students.
Technology:
Develop and implement a school "Internet Usage Policy" in conjunction with DSL access
in each classroom and promote the enrichment of reading skills in grades 3-8 with the
continued use of Accelerated Reader software.
Administration and Professional Day:
Continue the provision of current educational research through articles, guest speakers
and workshops and the implementation of the 21st Century, SPK Kit.
